Wotofo Manik Pod Mod Kit
Wotofo Manik Pod Mod Kit
Something new and exciting this week from Wotofo - a brand-new pod mod kit, the Manik!
Say hello to the Wotofo Manik Pod Mod Kit - Shop Here
Not just any old kit, ether, but Wotofo’s latest in just a handful of Mods released to date. With almost ten years’ producing some rather cool RDAs and RTAs, Wotofo is more an industry veteran than the ‘new kid’ and we’re guessing this one’s going to be just as good as their previous releases.
So, let’s take a closer look at this, their first pod mod, and see what we’ve got.
First up, it’s a sub-ohm pod and we all know what that means: bigger clouds and a better flavour! If sub-ohm is your thing, then you’re in safe hands with the Manik. If you’re new to sub-ohm and keen to give it a go, you’ll do well to start here with Wotofo, a manufacturer who prides itself on creating a vaping experience that’s safe.
Like all mods, you can expect plenty of power from the Manik, all from a single 18650 battery (not included at point of sale, peeps - sorry!). Probably the big news here is its inclusion of the NexCHIP, a newly developed chip set which boasts a 0.001 second fire-up – or, what we call ‘a blink of an eye’. Together with a super-fast Micro USB charging capability, you’re seldom left hanging with this Mod.
The Manik takes a range in pod coils, two produced using Wotofo’s own nexMESH heating technology, although it’s a D15 Clapton mesh coil that comes preinstalled. Plenty of flexibility here, too, with Vaporesso GTX and Voopoo PNP coils both supported.
In terms of aesthetics it’s looking good thanks to a combination of metal – zinc alloy, to be specific - and leather, with a 0.96 TFT screen keeping you in the know in terms of your data.
Dims-wise, this kit comes in at a compact 126 x 33 x 27mm and, weighing only 115grams, you’re looking at a standard light-weight Mod option that you’ll barely feel is there. It’s an easy one to handle, too, with plenty of curve allowing for a simply hold and grip.
As for wear and tear, the device body has been nano-coated which means extra protection against corrosion. It’s also super easy to clean with a quick wipe down all this kit needs.
It comes in two editions, TPD for us lot here in the UK and Europe – with the usual maximum 2mls pod capacity – or Standard with a 4.5ml capacity for those living outside the EU zone.
The kit comes in a choice of four colours across the body – nano black, chrome or gunmetal, and prism gunmetal – each one with a beautifully coloured leather grip.
Time to go Manik?
